HELPING YOU WITH UNCERTAINTY
The feeling of uncertainty can strike us all, and of course, the property market is no exception, particularly when we’re hearing so much about property valuation, inflation, interest rates and market trends in the media.
Chamberlain+Co understands this and wants to offer an olive branch to uncertainty by providing you with lending options tailored to your unique circumstances and empowering you with information.
Joel Monaghan, our mortgage consultant, who is always speaking to everyday Australians like you, has encountered many questions regarding lending during the last few months. Below are his thoughts on them:
What should we be thinking about right now regarding finance?
Everything in the current finance market presents itself as an opportunity with the right strategy. Rightly so, everyone is really taking a look at their lending. The most common question I get is, “is there a better deal out there for me”. And with the raft of lenders on our panel, there usually is. The key to making the most of your finance is finding a partner who can get you a competitive deal that is relevant today and well into the future.
What questions should we be asking our mortgage brokers?
I often get asked, "what type of loan is best?" and "should I fix or wait?". The truth is, there is no wrong answer, only that the correct answer is the one that is tailored to you. Your mortgage broker is here to make your life easy and break down the complex elements of lending. My recommendation is to ask them any question you like, but also remember to tell them about you, your goals, where you want to be and how you plan on getting there. The best mortgage brokers will always take the time to assess if a product is right for you.
Is it time to buy or wait?
Many of our clients who bought a home or an investment property recently have acquired fantastic deals through Chamberlain+Co's extensive list of lenders. If you're concerned about getting a competitive deal, I can assure you they are still out there. We can also help you determine how much you can afford to borrow and pay if this is another one of your concerns. Whether you're ready to buy, take on the next project or grow your business, reviewing your lending position is the first step.
